this is beyond weird.. I tried different browsers and the download got either cancelled somewhere in the middle or I got the same corrupt 228 MB file. then I tried on a different PC but same thing happened there. and then I tried the same download manager (FDM), which downloaded the corrupt file on the provious PC, and it finally downloaded the correct file on the different PC. -andy-
@Pir8pete, Scroll up, see what I did to get around it to install as well as integrate into an offline image using Win10UI. Also, look at @Enthousiast's recent postings.
I don't see what you did to run the update on a running system like how I have been doing it with all my other updates manually.
Servicing windows is not easy for all, but here you go, either do it manual by dism or use the GUI by You can just rename the download uup file to the filename shown in the post, or download by the WU cab links in the same post.. Manually (run in an elevated cmd and put in the full path and cab name): Code: dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:xxxxxxxxx.cab By GUI @adguard:: Code: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-insider-preview-build-18362-1-pc-fast-slow-rp-19h1_release.79259/page-62#post-1516261 Or use W10UI by @abbodi1406
Those are.CAB Files. They do not have a built in installer. You have to use an APP like DISM to install them.
