So it's not cumulative, I got confused because of it's small size. And as it said, things on it will be available on the next CUs
Hi, I need to intergrate updates in Windows Enterprise 1909 (Build 18363.418) with NET3.5 enable. My question is just about Net Framework updates from this post : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pc-19h1-2-release.79259/page-148#post-1525792 Do I need both KB4519573 and KB4530743 ? Thanx in advance. Cheers.
OK, so I'm having trouble using W10UI to offline integrate the November 2019 CU + SSU + flash updates to a 17763.1 Original Release Enterprise 2019 LTSC ISO. I need some help on the different options to choose from once I launch W10UI... I have tried - mounting the iso on a PowerIso virtual drive, running the W10UI process which fails at the end, when winre.wim fails to unmount with 0xC1420117 error - leaving the iso in a specific directory but fail to specify it in the "1.target" option - extracting the iso contents to a /DVD folder, running the W10UI process which fails at the end, when install.wim fails to unmount with hr:0xc1420127 error I mostly get this type of error "ERROR: Could not mount or unmount WIM image" what options/parameters would you recommend for this to work?
File explorer was closed... but not antivirus... will try again... EDIT: Tried it and it WORKED! thank you, so the AV was killing it..
...abbodi 1406,you could make the W10UI create an iso with install esd too,why i use W10UI more to integrate updates in of line but the iso is create with install.wim, the esd would be more ultil if it were converted directly, thank you!
in my opinion the esd cpu usages extremely high and waste much time, if you want to install.esd, edit the script add dism export command before creating the iso file.
Or just use UUP dump, create the UUPs folder and provide the updates, except the ssu/cu, in the UUPs folder and set the script to create install.esd.
...yes I know the esd consumes cpu,but should have this option in the W10UI,why i like to have a smaller iso.
Only not applicable to LTSB/C SKUs. Info: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...10-uups-with-ease.75052/page-122#post-1515410
The use of an install.esd pro's: - 30-33% less space - less data to down/upload - ISO will fit DVD5 or FAT32 USB Cons: - not serviceable (except imagex can apply it and delete indexes from it) - takes a long time to compress
19033.1.191123-1729.VB_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO 4,067,648 kb install.wim 3,418,623 kb ISO will fit on DVD or FAT 32 USB No need to convert install.wim to install.esd
Yeah and USB drives with plenty of space for WIM files are extremely cheap. I understand the pro's, but IMHO, the con's outweigh them.
