when installing windows10.0-kb4530684-x64_02ab3d424a993fbefa857f5b92999383f56c6986.msu im getting the following error Failed to install on 12/10/2019 - 0x800f0988
Weird thing is, it didn't get installed by WU with the new dotnetfx48 CU (when the updates initially got published earlier today), but now manually, using the msu, all installed fine.
You can always try, but in my case, the dotnetfx48 cu was installed at releasetime by WU, and later i installed the normal CU manually, by using the MSU. Maybe check the cbs log first?

It's actually better they left it, to differentiate the files without knowing KB number same thing for Win 8.1
Followup post to: I tried for several hours to trouble shoot this and nothing I tried seem to work, I then did an inplace upgrade and I am now on 18363.535 however I was offered again todays updates even though they were installed already. The downloaded and install without a request for a reboot and everything seems good togo.
