I encounter an issue when trying to update my live 19041.264 install using W10UI: I receive no error in W10UI, however, after rebooting, the update process says "Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes.". I used this exact same update method on 1909 and never had any issues. Does anyone know what could cause this?
Yes, I first tried updating to .329 with W10UI 8.2 and yesterday I tried updating to .331 with W10UI 8.4. The error code is 0x80070002. I searched for this error code online but didn't manage to identify the cause. I attached a picture with the logs, it also includes the 20H2 EP but trying to install just the CU causes the same error. I actually noticed now that the .329 SSU installed successfully the first time I tried to update.
I did a full test with W10UI 8.4 and 19042.331 and 19041.331, all worked fine, can you post the full progress info from the W10UI 8.4 cmd window?
Sure, this is the W10UI 8.4 cmd window when trying to install the .331 CU. I should probably just do a fresh install and hope that solves the issue.
Just make a clean install 19041.331 but winver says 19042.292 how can I correct that ? so it says 19041.331
