    because I did a clean installation of Build 10525 and there is no updates.

    Those of you talking about updates for build 10240 vs build 10525 are approaching this wrong. Think of build 10525 as basically a different OS from build 10242. Just like you wouldn't be surprised that updates for Windows 7 don't apply to Windows 8, you shouldn't be surprised that update for build 10240 don't apply to build 10525. It's not that build 10525 already includes those; build 10525 is a separate OS.

    Wasn't the former version still marked as "RSAT for W10 Preview" therefore usable for Preview only?

    Its just v1.0 (2015-08-20) vs v1.1 (2015-08-25).

    The repo uses ms links, it's not a real external repo
