It's universal they just mean that it's offered through WU only for these languages, but the actual update is applicable for all languages that would explain why no users announced the update here before i posted links
I just made an iso with the following updates: kb3074678 kb3074686 kb3087916 kb3081449 kb3081452 and kb3095020 After install wu still offers kb3081455
Yes, because WU doesn't recognise KB3095020 yet, except for specific languages even KB3074678 is officially superseded and won't be downloaded during OOBE process yet, WU will download it afterwards the meaning, don't get too attached to WU, it's sometimes have misleads
Same problem here. This is a clean install of the RTM (I just did it today), and I think I've already installed it like twice or so
As abbodi1406 alluded to in post #1184, the cumulative updates only update your current installed features. So if .NET 3.5 was not enabled when you installed KB3081455, that feature won't be updated. If it's enabled afterwards, the update needs to be installed again to update that feature.
Oke, that can be but if we have to use a glass ball to see in the future if and which update already is offered by catalog it's not workable anymore And what is the point of integrating updates which aren't recognized by my windows as update and wu still downloads the 1455? If you want to make an uptodate iso, than all updates that will be offered by wu should be integrated, or has that changed over the last year or so? Are releasers now telling people, yeah that update is offered but not needed, ignore it?
Not sure what you mean exactly but the KB3095020 article explicitly states that it replaces KB3081455 so does the catalog site as for WU, if i'm certain the update is replaced, i won't install it that will also helps me track which replaced updates are offered by WU and when it stops showing of course so far, WU10 is PIA
Thanks! That makes sense as I did enable .NET Framework 3.5 afterwards. So far, the update hasn't shown up for me again since that Cheers!
You probably should first enable Net 3.5 in your offline image before applying all these updates. After that KB3081455 should not be visible but update that superseeded it ^^
That update is not related to any build or windows component you must have some other product installed and i think this is not the first time you report that update
I don't understand, kb3095020 is out since 15 September, my WU still doesn't give a sign (it neither downloads nor lists it in the installed updates). I've installed other updates and enabled .net 3.5 since then, still nothing...
Very weird, I just installed a plain win10 in VM and it asks for these: KB3081452, KB3081444 (???ancient cumulative), KB3087916 +Defender and MRT updates.
