Looks like another preview cumulative update came out, KB5001391 probably Windows 10 19041.x Will be interesting to see what the insider blog has about this once that gets posted.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-622#post-1655693 old version of the kb (.962)!
Yeah took quite a while to install so I was expecting a bigger version bump, also wasn't expecting it to have the same KB as .962 but I guess they resolved something with that and re-released it then? EDIT: If it's additional changes I would expect the KB number to be different after all and the feature pack as from the earlier posts is a separate update entirely.
Is a failure of KB5001679 (OasisAsset) to apply to the install.wim normal? I was experimenting with building a 19041.1 ISO with only the following updates. The SafeOS and Setup updates were applied, but the OasisAsset would not apply with the convert script from UUPDUMP. The hash matches 6773983c33c19f68c8874e49d90034800a1e938c, but it just wouldn't apply. I also couldn't get the cab to completely open with 7Zip or Winrar. Windows10.0-KB5000983-x64_DU_SafeOS_v10.0.1.1.cab Windows10.0-kb5001412-x64_DU_Setup_10.0.19041.961.cab Windows10.0-KB5001679-x64_OasisAsset_v19041.953.1.0.cab < Wouldn't apply.
For whatever reason, I didn't see an answer to this question. Was there one? "Mixed Reality = not applicable to normal builds! Is this still accurate?" @abbodi1406
I just downloaded the SSU and looked inside and it appears to be .963. Hash matches too. The posts are happening so quickly, it's just a blur to me... Ha, ha.
I'm starting to think that Windows 10 1904X is like my FORD automobile. F.O.R.D (Fix-Or-Repair-Daily).
