    Theoretical question - if I don't have RTM assembly (e.g. 20380.1) but have baseless PSFX and an RTM system, where normal update has been applied.
    Is there a way to go down to RTM assembly? Without /f /d etc folders inside updated SXS.
    I know that for Win11 it is not possible, I need Win10.
    Thanks

    If you uninstall the update, the system re-generate downlevel components (RTM) if possible

    My case is bad. MSFT did cleanup. So I am trying to find a way down to the .1 version

    Install last baseless LCU, uninstall previous LCU (require registry changes), then uninstall last LCU

    theoretically

    @abbodi1406

    I can remove the latest LCU & .NET update. But can't remove the SSU package both online&offline.

    Is there's news that MSFT won't release update preview for 1809/1909 anymore?

    no there isn't any news on that

    maybe either by this THU Aug 26 or next TUE Aug 31
    also maybe reason for the delay is because of the release of KB5005932
