Nope, a clean install from a MSDN ISO some time ago, the one update in August, updated to .1237 via WU. Nothing touched except uninstalled OneDrive and the rest of the Windows bloatware.
Well, perhaps some of us don't want all the crap Windows comes with, you know. If you consider that maybe Solitaire Collection and Microsoft Pay are crucial part of Windows, well, who am I to argue ? Are you here to passively aggresive make fun, or do you actually have a solution to share ? Asking for a friend, as I was not really asking for any solution to begin with. Not that I do not appreciate your input, but in this case there is no input, more like borderline trolling. And speaking of OneDrive, if that is so freaking crucial, why is it uninstallable via Control Panel ?
Nope, i am here to help 10000's of members. My input was that most errors your friend and the other member experienced were caused by running an online cleanup after installing an IP released update. "nothing touched except it was stripped to some level", who knows what more is done to the install, specially if it isn't even yours to start with? I apologize if some people can't understand light bantering or have any idea what real trolling is.
I was joking about the friend, lol, I figured it was obvious. Nothing was "stripped", or maybe it depends on what you understand by stripped. No services touched, just those useless Microsoft apps uninstalled, Movies, Maps, and whatnot. The ones that can be removed via Powershell or even easier, via CCleaner. That should not affect Windows Updates, especially since the Troubleshooter found no WU issues at all. So the logical conclusion would be that it's the update's fault, no ?
hmm when I tried to install the KB5005624 the system reported that this update can not be performed on this computer?
