Not apparently according to M$ (This update does not need to be reinstalled)...... but I did anyway (Matter of choice, I suppose)
you really should stop using windows, internet etc. you know it is too much for you to handle all this downloads, updates, etc.
Update regarding my remark that the fully updated offline 16393 image can be /startcomponentcleanupped or /resetbased: Both instructions work just fine but if you enable dotnetfx3 on the offline image (must be done after /startcomponentcleanup or /resetbase, because it sets the pending flag), after installing the os wu will download and install the latest cumulative (KB3097617 at the moment) update again (i read somewhere it can be the express cab?). When I capture that install afterwards and I put it back in the iso and reinstall, wu is satisfied. KB3093266 also was integrated in the offline image and never reappeared in wu here Or did that only apply to 16384 iso? Edit: i must have misread abbodi and drew's comments about 3266 and 7617, i will start over and integrate all updates without 3266 and use the new 7617 Edit2: 3266 is gone for ever (just 5 updates left )
New update kb3105216 (flash) Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 3 (KB3105216) & (KB3105216): Securityupdate for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10
I have uninstalled Flash lately, and this update keeps failing to install. (error 0x800f0922) Installing it manually with .msu fails aswell. Any suggestions?
If Flash Player is installed... (For those that may also have this issue, * Has been known to happen Previously) - Try reinstalling KB3087040 - Then Install KB3105216 - (If it takes) Uninstall KB3087040 Alternatively: May be a Hangover from Windows 8?? (UEFI Secure Boot May Cause Windows Updates to Fail With Error Code 0x800F0922) Possible Workaround - Boot to the PC's UEFI/BIOS Setup Utility and Disable Secure Boot - Install KB3105216 - Upon completion, boot in to the PC's UEFI/BIOS Setup Utility and RE-enable Secure Boot
Has anyone seen KB3105216 for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10565? I am not seeing it in Windows Update. On the Microsoft Support page it shows that KB3105216: Applies to Windows 10 Education, released in July 2015 Windows 10 Enterprise, released in July 2015 Windows 10 Home, released in July 2015 Windows 10 Pro, released in July 2015. I am wondering why the Insider Preview build 10565 is not included.
