He says he UNinstalled flash (don't know if that's even possible in 10 because it's in MSIE integrated). Disabling flash is possible but UNinstalling?
On one system wu cannot connect to wu and on my main system there is no new cumulative yet, we'll wait patiently
today I received: Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Insider Preview October Update (KB3099406) but that is Flash Player 19.0.0.207 which is vulnerable too -_-
For what it is worth, I download and install my updates manually... Especially the Cumulative Updates which have been known to have issues with continuous reboots when installed via WU (May be the 'new' torrent method that M$ has adopted)
It was just to check if my live systems also have that new cumulative. I've never encountered any of those problems with any kb update, only kb3074681 whas a problem (pre release)
KB3105514 contains adobe-flash-for-windows 10.0.10240.16515 KB3105216 contains adobe-flash-for-windows 10.0.10240.16559 So no, the new cumulative KB3105514 doesn't supersede KB3105216. -------- Not much changed in KB3105514 compared to the previous cumulative KB3097617. Only "windows-coreos-revision" and "windows-i..rnational-timezones" have been updated to 10.0.10240.16559. Everything else is the same version #.
Guys, how to integrate Dynamic Update for Windows 10 (KB3097626)? To install.wim, boot.wim or elsewhere? Thanks...
With all the flash updates coming up every time we aren't going to see it remove from Windows 10 scheme of things as promised earlier. I am yet to see a fully fledged migration from Adobe flash to HTML 5 by most software giants. To me flash is well alive and may stay that way.
