Greetings @Enthousiast, Did you modify something in W10UI.ini in this specific scenario, I see .NET 3.5 already enabled? Best Regards
I never use the ini file for W10UI, this quick test to show it should work on an already mounted wim was with a previously updated image in which ,net35 already was enabled.
Hello, Attempting to update my current online OS, Windows 11 64 bit 22h2. Copying W10UI.cmd to C:\1 folder. (without any editing, and without any INI file next to it) Copying SSU KB5022948 cab file and LCU KB5023706 cab and psf file in the same folder. When running W10UI.cmd it showing Resetting Image Base and then shows press 9 to exit. If I run it a second time it works fine and prompts for options. This happens (when it wants to happen) when running W10UI.cmd without copying any update files as well. So basically running W10UI.cmd sometime triggers a "Resetting Image Base " without showing any options or prompts. Any idea? Maybe this is a DISM issue?
If you enabled "Cleanup System Image", for online installation, it must be executed after restarting the system hence, W10UI adds temporary registry values to run the cleanup afterward changelog: Code: 5.9: - Added workaround to perform Cleanup System Image for current online OS after installing updates that require reboot to complete (i.e. Cumulative Update) how to: run W10UI.cmd and install updates, assuming you choose to cleanup OS image (with or without resetbase) restart system run W10UI.cmd again, it will go directly to Cleanup or Reset OS image (it doesn't install or check any updates)
Would it be possible to have it re-run automatically after reboot? Sometimes, I forget it and wonder why the next update package runs cleanup beforehand.
Well, @abbodi1406, or at least remind the user to re-run W10UI after a reboot if a Cleanup is requested to complete the process. Just an idea.
x86? You need a little tool: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-105#post-1216064 Afaik, x64 should simply work, just provide the proper updates.
very good thanks for x64 I want to install these updates: kb4486129 kb4532820 kb5022503 kb5022838 (Cumulative Update) kb5023788 but on x86 i get errors do you think W10UI can install it without problem? What would I have to do to integrate them correctly?
Did you click the link i showed and read the info in that post? Are you updating the ISOs or the installed OS?
