the dism in 16299.15 have few more news commands from what i see for example: /Remount-Image - Recovers an orphaned image mount directory. /Cleanup-Mountpoints - Deletes resources associated with corrupted mounted images.
Yeah but since I'm already making a custom image I'm basically there so I just got in the habit of making the Start Tile layout the way I wanted and just going. Now it's actually an extra step. While we are here, one of the only reasons I have to make a custom install.wim is one single slider.. "Play animations in Windows." It's a single slider in Win10, and a single checkbox in previous Windows versions, but apparently that box ties in to an array of registry settings. Is there any documented way to set this to "Off" via the registry or scripting? I see lots of "let's tweak the animations and drop shadows and other stuff" but NOT that, I simply want that slider to set to Off, with the associated disabled animations.
Those exists since Windows 8 no new commands i could find only thing noticed is that dism 16299 reports image version based on servicing stack cbscore.dll version before it reports the version of DismHost.exe
You mounted image, then accidentally retarted OS without mounting you try to unmount mounted directory while it's used *e.g. File Explorer)
Those have been available in the PowerShell DISM Cmdlets for a while now. Didn't even realize regular DISM did not have them, though I use command-line DISM very infrequently so it's no surprise I'm out of the loop.
MS has been trying to get rid of imagex. I've been using dism for mounting & updating. Wimlib for exporting (& other tidbits, ie date/time of image/info).
Well, you can find a new imagex version in the new ADK package. So I really not understand your comment at all mate.
