@steven4554 Does the iso contain all the files. The size was 4.1 GB shown by setup when I choose to download the installation for a separate computer.
Yes it does, I downloaded the files using adksetup.exe. The only thing I added was a autorun.inf file.
Thanks. Can you point out to me to a guide or tutorial that shows how to edit a wim file in MDT 2013. I have seen one using DISM. I want to add updates to my recovery wim file. Any other method other than dism will also be good.
Microsoft is removing Recovery image support for Refresh/Reset) in Windows 10 so im not sure it makes any sense to bother creating them instead they have a new solution through USMT.
Sorry for the dumb question guys, but can someone point me towards the part of the WAIK or TechNet that covers using a 'Compressed OS' install. I've been through this thread twice and had a quick look at the TechNet links, but I still can't find any info I was hoping to try it out on a Tablet if that makes difference.
Thanks Shenj, I thought that powerpoint thing was about recovery images Never applied an Image with DISM before, so learnt something new there Still got to work out how to use my $OEM$ folder with DISM, I guess mounting and adding the files will be best. 10041 x64 (compact)Install on a 32GB Tablet
Shenj, Do you happen to know in which MSI/CAB file this file is located? I don't want to install the entire ADK for a single small file.
