MAK is not retail, and is not KMS it's a vol key, it's not supported by the free upgrade scheme. Like I said before, people could upgrade from activated preview/win7/8/8.1 to win10, it will give the OS the common generic key and activate it, if it's not connected to a Insider-registered-MSA, then it will "eventually expire"(quoting GabAul).
What is the recommended action for Insiders on 10240 who never had a legit 7/8/8.1/etc key aside from maybe an OEM 7 Home? Spin up a VM or partition just to snag a key? Is that even how it works? What would they use? A KMS iso or some random unactivated POS?
Yeah ... not sure if it was the beer or mix with ganjah, but i understood arseny perfectly . Something must have happend .............................................. .
Sometimes i wonder if its worth it. M$ cut out employees and "give" an unfinished/beta software to millions of pirates. So we basically work for them reporting bug and issues, and having the risk of losing your data for good. Seems like they'll make more money that way than actually selling W10 license. If the Insiders get a free 200GB Onedrive space i would consider the idea.
could you please stop stating things as fact? you've literally never been right. it's all guesses from you.
If the approach I'm talking about is taken into account, yes. You download an updated ESD when you upgrade.
