    In these days it not a matter of who is collecting data, it's a matter of who to trust with your data? Google is built on data collecting and selling and I see android has 80% of smartphone market share.....MS, greedy or not, has a history of supplying customer services,almost none involving collecting and selling your data to third parties. On the other hand, NSA can be a Google/Facebook customer(by a facade company) like Amazon or Best Buy. it's just business as usual. Do you trust IRS with you're secret stash or do you trust a value storage company? Nothing is for free....
    The level of hypocrisy is quite high lately, I've been reading a thread where people were in fact recommending installing Chrome as in the first 10 step list of things to do after installing/upgrading to win 10 after turning off telemetry...:clap::clap::clap: ....smart move:eek:
    There are no good or bad players, there's only a matter of who is more trustworthy. There is no sane way to escape data collection and live to the 21sy century standards...
