What if you installed the Tech preview on a partition (because you can't upgrade from vhd) of your computer then upgraded that with 10240 and backed up the activation? Could you then upgrade and restore the activation?
KMS.XSPACE.IN activates Windows 10 Build 10240 by the MS KMS key for 180 days. Thanks, I could activate the 10240 build form XSPACE with the MS KMS key.
Home VL seems to be activated 60 days, just as in windows 8.1. it's s**tty of microsoft, one reason not to install home ever.
Although it has gVLK, it isn't supposed to be KMS activated. 60 days are better than the 45 days of 8.1 (30 for 8) . BTW: How with clear mind pirates Home(Core) .
I have been watching people post about 10240 enterprise versions being successfully activated with KMS emulators. (I even tested this myself, successfully.) But I'm not going to update the first post regarding this until we see an official RTM version, as I, and others, expect this behavior to change. I'm trying to keep the information in the first post as accurate as possible and while it may work currently, there is no guarantee it will work in the RTM version.
Even in case the maybe to-be-released RTM will be shipped with KMSv6, this doesn't imply it will prevail. A Security Update can fix the 'issue' at every time. No way to refuse the update, since it updates security issues, features and drivers now side by side.
Aren't these Enterprise LTS versions exempt from forced updates? If you pirate Enterprise, you might as well cherrypick the most beneficial version. :>
Having control over WU is one thing here. Updates for Win 10 are more the like the GA Rollup Updates and adress security, features and drivers, so you can't simpoly opt them out. Most users will run Upgrades from already pirated predecessors .
For one, I don't think Microsoft Really care about piracy caused by KMS activation anymore, because people already got, or will get permanent activation of PRO version on their computer, even with previously pirated Windows. So that fact already told us that MS doesn't give a damn about KMS of PRO version anymore. As for enterprise version - yes for average joe who is currently pirating the enterprise version of Win8/8.1, I think they will gladly switch to permanently activated PRO now, because if they pirate enterprise, they will never get permanent activation with KMS and the fear that MS may close the hole anytime will always bother them. Pirated MAK can be blocked too. So in conclusion - fewer people will pirate enterprise WIn10, most will go with the permanently activated PRO version. Therefore with Win10, there is no need for MS to update KMS protocol anymore. I firmly believe this.
With WIN10 PRO permanent activation, its basically an amnesty to the pirates, so most will take advantage of that. Very few will care about enterprise anymore.
Given the choice between vlmcsd and a gifted legit version that only runs on the hardware you got it for, I'd still take vlmcsd. And when the gift still phones home for activation, no thanks. If they don't mind the pirates, they won't mind them keeping to use vlmcsd. :>
simple answer: They don't count that handful of ppl but better get them into the official system integrated and assume that they might pay sometimes for the MS service
So far: KMSv6 still working in 10240 Upgrade from DazLoader activated Win 7 is legit afterwards Upgrade from KMS activated Win 8//8.1 seems to stay legit likewise More to come soon ....
If active Windows 8.1 wth KMSpico v10.0.6 and upgrade to Windows 10 10240 windows will be permanent activated?
We'll know for sure on 29th, but ATM Daz copies of Win7 upgraded to Activated 10. Also people using prelease Insider keys (clean installed Insider Win10) got activated. If MS leave things as they are, they'll get the adoption rates they want.
Here's a post I made on why I think they will change the protocol at some point. Maybe Microsoft will bait people into Windows 10 and then not change the protocol until the Redstone update is released in 2016. We simply don't know.
