Yes "Microsoft Toolkit" will activate Pro. Not sure about Enterprize but I don't see why it shouldn't.
Disabling all updates because you don't like one or two isn't the smart thing to do though as you'd be leaving yourself open to exploits and you'd also be missing important OS fixes, which you wouldn't really want to miss out on. IMO if people don't like the forced updates situation then they should stick with their current OS and wait to see what Microsoft does over the next few months. You've got a whole year to upgrade for free anyway.
Windows as a service this is the answer. Now M$ will make $$ on additional stuff and apps from M$ store. In the near future the important thing for M$ will be gathering as many users as they can even giving windows for free. It is easier to control only one system. Users who choose win10 probably don't back to old OS. M$ copy a lot of ideas form Apple and try to implement it. As google play and apple store, M$ store is good way to make $. The installation of last M$ systems is very simply and finally you get M$ store icon on your desktop. For many common users this is enough and they start to use it. I give M$ store as example but they can offer many different services. Implement new ver of kms system or other protect. stuff is totally waste of time and $$$. For sure it will be defeated sooner or later. I saw apps for thousands of $$$ with its protection defeated. This is only OS, the enviroment for apps from M$ store or installed as stand alone.
They could do that, Daz, but I don't see the point. Pirates will just go back to 7/8 if that happens. MS has nothing tying them to 10. I think they want everyone, including pirates on 10, since that means higher adoption rates which means incentivizing developers to make games/apps exclusive to Windows Store.
check n s a ne they have a w10 kms activator by some Alex that did activate my Enterprise w10, still activated and updated
I think they doesn't care about small users like we are. The companies don't use kms emu and loaders they buy the license and support. This do the real money.
Regarding Win 10 Activator by AR_Alex Regarding Win 10 Activator by AR_Alex Reminds me to check what those insane ones are doing atm ......... . EDIT: Nicely oldschool using SLMGR and OSPP, KMS Emulator is the one by CyNex. EDIT 2: And again no proper Credits given to the creator .
So I decided to install win8 on a vm and install Windows8-RT-KB3058168-x64.msu and then try to activate against my ddwrt router running vlmcsd and sure enough it activated just fine. I thought this update was supposed to update the kms client to now allow emulated kms servers? ~MC
Well it may not be the place but it appears that it continues in this thread because KMS activation and the freedom to choose what you install or do not install on this new OS seems to go hand in hand. I for one want to have full control of my PERSONAL device and therefore M$ changing it and installing what they want when they want is not only something that can cripple KMS activation but is a gross infringement of our privacy and our freedom of choice. Not too worried about all these scary exploits as multiple backups is most likely a better plan than worrying about them. Do you see any other way to have control of what is and what is not installed on your personal device without totally turning them off? Is this not a M$ decision and has nothing to do with the user? It should be possible to turn them off and download and install what you want when you want, will it take place here is the question? You are right we do not have to install this new OS and I for one will not at this point. They toke away the start menu in 8, fixed by classic. They gave some crap back in 10, fixed by classic. This OS is nothing to write home about and the force feed makes it so we wait to see if this is the direction for the herd of cows. Do you still need a live account to do many things in this OS? We will wait and see. We again digress to the main flaw of this new OS and freedom to control your own personal device, if this is the direction they are taking what do you think the adoption rate will be? heil microsoft, I think not. Do you have a warm fuzzy feeling about installing an OS that can change any time without your input? Do you think this OS is good enough to really give a $h!t what direction they take. As HB64 said if they deploy KMS v10 it can be reversed engineered, and therefore they will need to keep this force feed live to do it over and over again, this will deter all to the point it will not be adopted by many, whatz the point? M$ needs to think outside the box. If we could only hack dx 12 into 7 this conversation would be over as the OS in general is not really gr8. Maybe the first time a new OS does not get installed on the test box for educational proposes, business did not adopt win 8.1 and most certainly will not adopt 10 at this stage, we will wait and see. Regards
Not yet, but that's why I said keep an eye out and don't upgrade. Things may change officially or someone might come up with a software solution. Not if you're going to stick with using normal applications and not apps. And like I've said, they could bait people in and then change it with a larger update (Redstone). That could be when they offer pirates an attractive offer, which I'm sure some people would go for as they would of used Windows 10 long enough to know that they like it. Do you want to know of just one way MS can defeat KMS emulators? All they need to do is require the KMS servers to connect to them (Microsoft) so that they can download a signed token that needs to be renewed every 24-48 hours. That signed token would then be used to generate information to activate the clients, so if you can't get the signed token from Microsoft then you're not going to be able to activate anything. It then wouldn't matter if you reverse engineer anything as you'd be missing the key to get it all working. I'm about 90% sure that we'll see a KMS protocol update. It might not be released next week or maybe even in a month or two, but I'm rather confident in saying that we'll see an update at some point for Windows 10. And of course I want to be wrong and you should hope that I am, but I do have a good track record when it comes to getting things at least partially right. You don't really need one yet. Look at the last link in my signature though.
So you want to be able to pirate Windows 10 while also moan at them for invading your privacy? That's rich...
I have a Win7 SP1, which was activated by Daz`s Windows Loader. I cant install these updates no matter what i try. Both updates returns with error message and says "not installed". I had these updates listed in Windows Update for some time and i think i tried to install it from there for like 5-6 times but all failed. Now i tried it again from the direct download links here but both failed once more; KB3035583 (x86_64) KB2952664 (x86_64) Anyone have an idea what might be the cause of this?
I do not use children appz in a engineering environment and applications will most likely be enough, how do you get these appz off the start menu ..... oh yes start menu classic again. I do not see how they can bait anyone in if you are set up activated and no longer talk to them. Really has nothing to do with KMS but the force feed upgrades, it makes it so you can not use this in a bussiness environment as I will not purchase this for my office and have my network open to whatever M$ wants to do. Daz we all know and respect you are right most of the time, thanks for the insight. Me thinks this guy protest too much, I pirate nothing dude as I understand and have the means, unlike many, what that is. Unless you are sure that was what it was about it appears you owe me an apology, however based on your comments so far I think not, Hiel M$ fan boy. Plug us in. Whats really sad is you get thanks on this forum of all places, there r aliens among us. Regards
