I am not sure, if that solve the problem? Anyway, at the moment images don't will be converted to own screen dimensons. For example: My Res 1280x800 is 16:10. If I use any 16:9 Res, image is cuted at the sides! So it isn't converted. If it where vonverted, image should be fully visible, but with wrong ratio.
Updated: Code: - Changelog 0.0.1.3: Updated image converter (will preserve aspect ratio) Updated user account picture enable/disable Bug fixes
@Alphawaves Could you also add the option to change the desktop wallpaper to the same image. I know it is easy to do manually, but if this was added it would make this a 'one-stop-shop'. Thanks
When trying to Disable User Account Picture , getting an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." and program freezes
Thats a strange one.. Anyone else getting that error! Can you open regedit and post a screen shot of: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AccountPicture\Users\your sid\ values ???
It didn't just gave me that error , and default grey and white human outline remains. Tried setting "your picture" thro windows , and then tried to disable it again with your program, this time no error but instead of disabling the picture completely i got default grey thingy back
this is a trojan (antimalware and vira immediately stopps this file) - stop bloating malware in this forum!
so far the apply to desktop does not work it does not take the desktops picture that you allready set. well its a good working thing so far.
everything working fine here, and the solidfiles link? use the little text that says direct download, not the Giant green HELLO I AM MALWARE button userscloud is perfect just click download on that one
I get the same error. It disables the picture okay but the application freezes and can't be closed without task manager.
These are my observations so far , On my desktop PC - clean install Win Enterprise - Disabling User Account picture = Works without any problem. On laptop - upgrade from Win 8 to Win Enterprise - Disabling User Account picture = Failed* *1st few tries gave an error and application froze *but after i tried setting user account picture first and then tried disabling it no more error or freezes , however User account picture still remained the same. Setting custom Lock Screen Image works perfectly on both.
I just tried this app and the login screen now looks like my desktop. One thing I noticed though is that the sign out screen still shows a boring blue before it switches to the login screen. Apparently windows uses yet another image/method for the sign out screen. Would it be possible to have this app also update the sign out screen so there is only one background for Login and SignOut?
