will this be next summer?

 

There is no guarantee that LTSB will get a version update this year at all. It is pure speculation to say that it will.
And releasing new code for LTSB at the same time as the current branch would be foolish.

 

They should at least fix bugs, you still can't edit tcp/ip settings with LTSB. :-/

I'm curious to know what feature(s) that are in the current branch but not in LTSB are fans so desperate to have show up?

 

Some want new features only to remove them later

 

Since the two primary themes related to LTSB are "Why isn't it being updated?" and "How do I strip it down even more?", I think you are right.

I presume sebus linked the "wrong" update because of MS still listing LTSB on it's requirements.
This must be an error on MS part. KB3099229 should simply refuse to install on th1 OSes such as N LTSB, but will mess it up instead.

 

Something is wrong with recognition.

 

Using LTSB since release date, real pure OS, perfect for my gaming PC.

 

I'm new to the matter reading all around about win10

So, LTSB are not loaded with execcess of apps, but telemetry still persist ?

 

The 10 people in the world that still game on their PC instead of getting an x-box or PS4 would say yes.
