I am not sure this is accurate. when 10586 version 1511 is out, i clean install 10586 version 1511, i notice lots of default store apps that are built into the ISO, needed to be updated.
Yeah, I have noticed that too. It makes no sense to me that even the Store app needs to be updated, and about 8 others. It's just lazy on MS part.
Certain store apps are updated almost daily, so by the time they finish preparing installation media and releasing it, those apps become old (sort of, only parts of new version are downloaded, not complete appxbundle)
It has been "Mid May" by now, i don't see the new iso's appear on the original techbench. Was it a hoax again?
The OEM's already have access to it. I'll see if I can find some info... Code: 17/05/2016 09:09 AM 4,458,960,896 X21-04775 SW DVD9 NTRL Win 10 1511.2 64Bit English Home Pro.img 17/05/2016 09:17 AM 3,387,006,976 X21-04797 SW DVD9 NTRL Win 10 1511.2 W32 English Home Pro.img
I wonder why MS hangs onto this stuff so long? Pointless really. April is soooo last month. Integrate the new May updates yourself to stay up to date...
Yesterday a frined of mine bought a cheap HP laptop which he asked me to set up for him, the first thin I did when I turned it on before even connecting to the internet was to check the version and it was 10586.114 This surprised me how come such a low end laptop has a version newer than the one downloaded from the Windows 10 media Creation Tool. What gives?
