Has anyone attempted to generate the confirmation ID for offline activation using "slmgr /dti" and "slmgr /atp"? Is that even an option if the machine will eventually be connected to the internet and able to contact Microsoft servers? Any thoughts or further reflections on the matter are greatly appreciated.

Don't even know why I care... guess so when MS finally dumps everything in the trash I can still activate.
