It is not suggested to install 64-bit Windows 10 on 1GB memory PC,because 64-bit OS needs more system resources than 32-bit OS. To be honest,it is also not suggested to install 32bit Windows 10 on 1GB memory PC,it will run very slow. Why not upgrade to a new hign-performance PC or just add memory?I suggest you to buy a new PC,because PC with 1GB memory may not have a high-performance CPU.So,go to the computer shop and purchase a new PC is the best way to experience the best Windows 10.
Realisticly more like= 32-bit 3 GB 64-bit 5 GB And commonly, you would encounter 5 GB with mixed DDR2 sticks, especially on socket 775, 6 GB with DDR3 on socket 1366 and 8 GB with DDR3 and DDR4. You'll need at least 5 GB of RAM for 64-bit Chrome! Or else expect the dreaded "Aw, Snap" error!
Indeed, same here, with 1 GB it does not matter, whenever it is x86 or x64, there is virtually no difference in RAM's usage, pagefile will be heavily used on both, I always go for x64.
