Bring up Admin Cmd Prompt type winver press enter key on keyboard is it Home or Pro version, if it's Pro your very lucky
And based on my dealings with Microsoft over the last twenty years or so, they'll figure this out sooner or later.
After they see this thread and where ever else he may have talked about this, may wake up one morning with Home (OEM)
I would love to see, Microsoft fixes this bug. Like I wrote: my friend has got a Pro key! That's why we used the generic key: to switch from Home to Pro. Since Windows 10 installer detected OEM Home key, we were not able to select "Pro" during installation and it's not possible to switch from OEM Home to Retail Pro by Anytime Upgrade.

Seems like this software is outdated: Code: ://i.imgur.com/iQaSb7A.png Edit: please stop to send me hundret of applications for diagnosis, which all tell the same
I did ... just have a look in this thread. But what's the sense of running hundrets of applications just to verify that I'm using a generic key?
Just changing to the generic -3v66t will trigger an upgrade from Win 10 Home to Pro. I have done it several times. The Win 10 Pro you get when the all of dust settles would ordinarily not be activated, unless MS had recorded your hwid from a previous 7 or 8.x Pro to 10 Pro upgrade.
He never had a 8.1 Pro, 8.1 Home OEM to Win 10 Home OEM-entered generic key-now activated Win 10 Pro-Never had anything Pro on before
