I have the follwoing problem: I use different virtual machines on Virtualbox I access it from Windows and Ubuntu using remotedesktop or rdesktop. Using Windows 7/8.1 works perfectl to access the VMs. I use no authentification on Virtualbox side. After I upgraded Windows 7/8.1 on my notebooks to Windows 10 (OS on notebook not the VM) it is not possible to access Virtualbox VMs using remotedesktop anymore. From Ubuntu still no problem. If I rollback to Windows 7 no problem. It does not have any effect if I switch off the firewall. So is there a new Group policy or other configuration that restricts the access? How to make it work. Again I do not access the VM directly by rdp but Virtualbox.
Virtualbox runs on the server (Ubuntu 14.04.2) and I (and my employees) access from our desktop or notebook to the virtual machines. So the problem is with the client, no VirtualBox installed there. The server works fine. Each VM on the server is one product version of my company that we maintain or where test are ongoing. On the server everything works. We can access through rdp from Windows 7/8.1,Ubuntu and Mac OSX. But we can not access from upgraded Windows 10 machines using remotedesktop.
