Just updated everything went fine.. I see no point waiting until 29th .. Anyway time to check out stores more and download freebies..
if you put in the microsoftedgecp.exe it works now. it didn't before in the older ones. just downloading programs at the moment though and trying to get it to download videos path is> c windows system apps Microsoft edge and will see the exe in there
you choose the original microsoftedgecp.exe that was there. im still tinkering with it to download videos,by adding file types and copying the video url and manually putting it in
trying to follow that video was confusing to me and when I seen he was creating the file that was already in there I said wait a minute, its already there, and selected it. the video did help though thanks. that's the way people were trying it before and it didn't work. so looks like they did update idm for it to work.
Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 10240 is running great on my machines. I haven't encountered any issues at all from multiple fresh installs. I have disabled driver updates and I only receive security updates. If the automatic driver updates couldn't be disabled I would have stuck with 8.1. I don't like Windows trying to update my device drivers because the drivers I use for my devices are all stable. I made multiple level backups of clean Windows installs like I always do. Acronis True Image Home backs up and restores Windows 10 without any issues. I hope 10 runs well for those of you who want to run it. Thank you to all of you who have contributed helpful info here on MDL. These forums are top notch!
downloading programs but not videos. when I put in the url, it just downloads a web page. have you tried it yet? thanks.
the only imp is waiting for idm fix the right click and download till then i will not use idm in edge
Hi everyone, The only version that allow us to choose what updates to install is the enterpriseS version? And that one is not leak yet right?
No it's leaked by Wzor with x86/x64 as En/Ru/CH languages. checkout the pages of this thread you will find links.
I thought there are two version which are enterprise and enterprise(s) LTB something? The only one that allow the old behaviour is the latter one? I don't want to have windows update keep on downloading especially when all the pcs sharing the bandwidth.
I don't see what would be the point in doing something different on the 29th. If they didn't want people activated, I don't see why they would allow it in the first place.
