If you upgrade from within Windows 7 Home Premium you will automatically get W10 Home. Yes, once doing a clean install, choose W10 Home, Pro will not activate with a Home license.
Sure, and the fact, that RTM was compiled on July 15th and SHA1 being the same for all is just completely irrelevant.
SHA1 is god btw. Anyone taking bets on the SHA1 being different the 29th(or around there) when MS puts out ISO's to MSDN? lol
I don't know. I'm torn on this. On one hand, they've published the esd files to the download servers (same ones insiders got) On the other hand, there's like a gig worth of patches. They could rollup and get it down to like 300mb, but still...
So it's better to wait to 29th to download official ISO or download from this thread ? And if ISO will not be ready in 29th ?
@Murph, yeah ESD can be changed too, weird they flopped them out already. I actually scratched my head on that one a few times. I figured at least they would have held off. @Cute, if there is a change the 29th, it will just be a refresh adding all the patches to what we already have. I guess what is better depends on whether people would want to download the updates from WU or have the iso with them in it already (if they actually do a refresh the 29th)
I grabbed the esd for en-gb but I cannot get any of the esd to iso tools to work, they all say " ERROR: Decryption failed. None of the known/specified RSA key works." apologies for asking but I have searched for over an hour
Do some have this problem download update from WU and click restart and then show percent 30% and then Restarting and then not restart system I wait 2-3 min and power-Off button on pc case... This is problem with system or ?
Nothing problem but on last 3 updates make this when restarting monitor off and pc work but not working nothing and then I power-off and again power on and installing is ok. But question is what is problem how to see is conflict or some wrong detection.
I have a problem can any once else test this when i go click on my network adapter in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections windows explorer crashes and restarts ?
Have you setup Explorer to run in a separate process? [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer] "DesktopProcess"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "SeparateProcess"=dword:00000001
Just to clarify, i dont need to download and install this version as the other version that was posted earlier for build 10240 is also rtm?
