    This is SVF: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/smartversion-tools-scripts.79415/

The SVF file can be considered the difference between a source ISO and a target ISO, easy ISO distribution with only a source ISO and a SVF for creating the target ISO.

oh thanks, I've mistaken SFV with those SVF-s

so the end iso after SVF-ing is patched, why not just patch it immediately? Or let Win download what it's missing from the original iso?

    It's not a patching system.

    For example:

    - You have a source ISO
    - You have a target ISO
    - You create the SVF file and it will be the exact difference between the two ISOs
Now someone else downloads the exact same source ISO (once) and the small SVF file, now you can create the target ISO, and the target ISO will 100% match the target ISO used by the SVF patch creator.
When the SVF creator made SVF files for all possible target ISOs (from the same build), you would only need the other SVF file to be able to recreate the other desired target ISO.

thanks, saves a lot of bandwith. But in my case I just wasted it by converting en > en-uk iso :D

That's exactly one of the purposes of the svf method, that or downloading the desired ISO entirely.

This makes alot of sense. Having a bit of trouble though.@Enthousiast
If I understand this correctly you'll need to download two files. First being the target ISO and second the SVF that you'd like the output ISO to be? Next question would be if the ISO can be a generic ISO you already have i.e. an older 1903 ISO Win10Pro, or newer 2004 Win10Pro ISO to create the target ISO?

I've downloaded SmartVersion and ready to try this procedure but having trouble getting two "compatible" ISO and SVF files. Could you provide a download link for an SVF and ISO to produce a taret 2019 LTSC disk image? I'd d like to get a running start on my first conversion

    Thanks!

    @sr3tlaw
you can make a svf patch from any file (iso) to any file (iso), but if the created svf patch is bigger size than target file (iso) then no point to make it

svf creator need/have the source iso + the target iso & make the svf patch
the user needs the source iso + the svf patch & make the target iso

It doesn't matter for the content whether it's a x86 or a x64 ISO from which it's taken, but i will add the two others.

EDIT: Added the two x64 ISOs.

wonder why MS chose to give MVS users the 20H2 ISOs with build 19042.508 instead of the newer 19042.572 build

This would be normal if we next got the 19042.572 MVS ISOs too, that would resemble the 19041.208 > 19041.264 method but the 19042.572 ESDs beat the MVS/TB ISOs this time:D
