Thanks. That link 'Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.1)' downloads it as a URL and not rar which is different to the guide? I didn't notice forever. Should I use that url to download the rar? Can I skip the svf if it's already the en ISO and I only need the English version?
When the source ISO is in a rar, extract it from the rar or just download the desired ISO straight from the ISO repo by @luzea
I downloaded the file from the link I think I was directed to. But it downloaded as URL and not ISO as I thought it had. That URL file leads to a ISO called Win10_1809_English_x32 I can download. I was just checking it's ok because it strayed a bit from the guide.
That URL is a techbench ISO, just rename to the MVS filename and you can use it as source ISO for the SVF's by @GezoeSloog. Easiest would be to just download the desired ISO from: or
Thanks. Those urls to the direct download links take me to a post with them/where to get them. It was taking me somewhere else before. Now it's working is this the better ISO to use than the method below? Does this ISO also need to have the updates applied (like the one below)? I don't need to change the language, so what would be the next step? I haven't put it together with that tool yet. More -This one says to "Put EVAL source ISO next to the SVFSFX patch and run the patch, done". So that would be done and finished? But I'm not sure if the eval version is not the version to pick? -With the other ISO... I would need to find a different activation method?
You now have 3 options: - Use the SVF repos by @GezoeSloog - Use the SVFSFX repos by me - Use the direct ISO links by @luzea All lead to the same ISOs and all can be activated by the same tools, KMS_VL_ALL or HWID.
Thanks... I am trying the direct ISO first. I thought I'd work this out if I just kept looking, but I had no clue where to start until I saw your 3 steps with direct links. Gave me something to follow. I was confused, but in the end it's just an ISO and activation. Not sure I would have seen that if I didn't ask some questions. Must be all the different methods and terms and everything is new to me. The checksum is what I will research next to make sure I'm doing it right. I managed to check the sha1 online, but the filesize was reported to be 0bytes. Thanks for all the help and patience.
