No, not at all (forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/60900-how-to-create-SmartVersion-file-patch?p=1024013&viewfull=1#post1024013) ... for a start. But there´s a learning curve. Someone programmed some little tool just for extracting svf, only. It´s also here in this forum but i forgot the name. Edit: Oh, this is about creating svf not extracting but anyway...brings you the full monty and the full insight...
You are right, only the latter If you want to create your own svf, you must use the original program (Smartversion 3), (smartversion.com/download.htm). It´s shareware but never expires but that IS a secret since the author of the prog also has been seen on this forum and nobody wants to annoy him...
I know that but i wanted to know where sfvx.exe is used for. So it's for sfv > iso and not iso > sfv. I hoped it would help me to create svf files from a folder with iso's (batch) but i'm going to use my smartversion 3.00 with key, it's only more work to do it one iso at a time
For batches you can use the included command line version of smartversion. Batches also circulate here...maybe even one that fits your needs.
What do you mean with sizemismatch? The techbench iso's contain install.wim files and the ones from the mediacreationtool contain install.esd files.
This is the hash of the en-us msdn/techbench iso: File Name: en_windows_10_multiple_editions_version_1511_x64_dvd_7223712.iso Languages: English SHA1: 875EC108288B9F581E5D8099CF0EDB79F0F3E483
hmm can anyone explain what these .svf files are suppose to do? Is it suppose to make the Win 10 home/pro convert into the enterprise version? If, so can someone explain what i need to do, i have alrady d/led both the iso and .svf files.
I dunno how to use these tools and I am fedup of all the errors messages I am getting (Including in Windows Update). I will wait for a proper ISO I can download.
@Tito I send you the SOS !!!!! People in here is spoiling the thread. I really doubt this is done innocently, for me it's done on purpose. @Threat Hopefully you don't lose your patience. @All This thread is not for discussing TH2...
