Thanks for ur explanation, really helpfull. Btw, I have Windows 10 TH1 Multiple Edition but has been burned to DVD and i dont have ISO copies in my harddsik. Is possible to make ISO files again from DVD (using apps like poweriso, ultraiso, etc) and i use it as ISO sources, or i must download ISO files again ? @GezoeSloog Downloaded, thanks
you can rip your DVD usual the result iso is padded with "00" bytes -> so called overdumped if you use ultraiso for rip you must enable a filter (cant remember which one - don't use this prog) to avoid a overdumped iso result make a sha1 check for your riped iso
afaik no if you use powerISO you must remove the padded "00" bytes manualy (eg with HxD-Hexeditor) always remove x-sector (a sector = 2048 bytes) from the end until the sector include one ore more bytes <> "00" PS: a ISO-file is always a multiple of 2048 bytes long a FAT, FAT-32 or NTFS is a multiple of 512 bytes long
What original MSDN iso do you have on your pc (please give us the sha1 checksum and filename)? Maybe we can create a patch for you to recreate the desired iso.
using UltraISO to rip using its ISO volume filter should take care of that. Tools -> Make CD/DVD Image >- Enable ISO Volume Filter
@vanelle : Thanks for ur explanation, but im newbie here, so im get confused how to remove it manually Is it diferent ISO files from download and ISO files from rip DVD ? @Enthousiast : I have ISO files of Windows 10 TH2 Multiple Update April (English) from WZor on my harddisk, and Windows 10 RTM Multiple Build 10240 (English, from Techbech) which have burned to DVD and i dont have ISO files on my PC. @EFA11 : So, i must use UltraISO ?
if you burned you CD/DVD from a valid original iso, the burning prog pad always a multiple of 2048 "00" byt's to the end of the cd/dvd (for security reason) if you rip this CD/DVD you rip the iso part + the padded sector's to get the original iso you must - either remove the padded sectors manual - or use ultraISO with "Enable ISO Volume Filter" afaik ultraISO is the only prog with this option.
@EFA11 : Thank u very much, I've installed UltraISO, make dvd image and now i have ISO files again @Oz : Thanks for ur information, so I can use nero as alternative After ripping my dvd, this is what I have (Windows 10 Multiple English RTM Build 10240) 60CCE9E9C6557335B4F7B18D02CFE2B438A8B3E2*en_windows_10_multiple_editions_x64_dvd_6846432.iso D927A91E1DD7D9C6023D0DA1DBCB16DEFEC5B6C1*en_windows_10_multiple_editions_x86_dvd_6848465.iso I think I need svf patch from multiple to pro (32 and 64bit), so i can use Windows 10 RTM SVF stuff from GezoeSloog signature
Where he puts "#Pro to..." he means "#Multiple to..." because Multiple includes Pro. If your ISOs have the SHA1 you posted, then you just need the SVFs to extract other ISOs.
Please, SVF for Code: 14393.0.160715-1616.rs1_release_CLIENTPRO_RET_x64fre_en-us_ed8daab17a31489925a8d5e19c77d9d466c36fd7.esd to Code: 14393.0.160715-1616.rs1_release_CLIENTSINGLELANGUAGE_RET_x64fre_en-us_2ba77db199458db0f1aa7b64f024fa0758344de2.esd i know ISO's will be up in few days but still if anybody can help out, it will be much appreciated.
well it WILL work, can make a patch out of anything. but.. probably huge. Ill give it a try in a few and see how big it is.
Gezoesloog's script just goes away after starting it on the esd's. Afaik, the esd encryption blocks smv to do it's thingy on it
