I've to admit that I'm not very familar with uTorrent because I hardly use any illegal apps. Just skipped all other downloads except the ISO for the 64bit Enterprise which has 3.75GB and now the download speed came up a bit to app. 400kB/s. Thanks a lot for the advice.
I'll not do an upgrade, instead a new install and see that will works?! following by to create again an Windows to Go USB 3.0 Drive. To do that from the updated W10TP 9841 to 9860 that wasn't working!!
I installed it on a VM Machine and it worked very great! Am pretty sure that when the final version comes out will install it on my HDD
OK, the update went OK. First, I saw while open Explorer were that there was now a new part Recent open files. Next were that I need to activate Windows again manually. Let see what else will come up!
It's not possible for to use the updated W10TP Ent to create a new Windows to Go USB3.0. It asked for an W10TP Ent Image file which were not available on the newly updated build 9879! There's an install.esd file in the Recovery Image Folder on C drive, but could not be used, not accepted by the install apps. Therefore, I copied the 9879 ISO over to that laptop, mounted the ISO, selected the that folder and the creation is now on working on that Acer 500GB external USB3.0 HDD. Still the SanDisk Ultra USB3.0 stick could not be used. And just for fun, I'll later try to use an simple USB3.0 HDD external case with an Hitachi 320GB HDD for to create an W2Go on it too just for to see, Windows will do that or not!
I downloaded the x64 Pro ESD file.. and made an ISO with compressed ESD and mounted it on a USB and double-clicked on 'setup.exe' => It opens a User Account Control window asking for permission to run the program but afer that no other window for update/install opens. Why is that? 'coz I updated to Build 9860 by this method only, but not working now.
Sure, will try that.. also now I just double-clicked on the 'setup.exe' in the 'sources' folder of ISO.. and it gave me a 'Setting up temporary files' window and then 'check for updates while installing' window too.. Can we proceed that way?
I haven't kept up with Windows 10 since I ran into a few issues after upgrading to 9860 which prompted me to go back to 8.1 (issues with games performing very badly after the upgrade, literally having 1-5 second pauses every few seconds after a couple minutes of playing any game) and was wondering how Enterprise build 9879 performs with a fresh install. Doing a little reading it seems like there are a lot of issues with crashing that will require a hotfix?
I tried using Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool to create a bootable DVD but it stops at 90-ish% and shows the DVD is full. Is there any way to shave off some space to make it fit in the DVD?
