Windows 10 Technical Preview setup crash

    Tito, thank you for trying to help me! :)

    I tried every option in the F8 boot menu (including safe modes).. No luck, Windows always crashes with the same error message (Your PC ran into a problem.. etc..etc.. DRIVER_VIOLATION).

    Windows 8.0 works perfectly, but all Windows 8.1/10 crash.

    I have the same problem on an Asus X59SL laptop:

    - Intel Core2 Duo P8400@2,26GHz
    - ATI HD3470 256MB
    - 2x2GB DDR2 667MHz
    - 250GB HDD

    Windows 7 and 8 work well, but every time I install Windows 8.1 or 10 it crashes during boot.

    Interesting.

    Do me a solid. Boot into Safe Mode and disable AMD. Restart.

    Post results.
