Go to Click/tap on Advanced options.
    Command Prompt

    diskpart

Restore functionality of older Photo Viewer (I cannot recall who first post this at MDL, all thanks to them)

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.jpg]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.jpeg]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.gif]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.png]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.bmp]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.tiff]
    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    ; Change Extension's File Type
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.ico]

    @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"

    rename the txt to .REG

no, this will concentrate on reg tweaks and fixes directly. Not just things people find and go hummmm
Zardoc just has to add all these things to the first post as the thread gets bigger. Linking to individual posts would be easiest I think.

Much easier way is to go to disk cleanup, cleanup system files, select previous windows installations.

I had to repeat that process 3 times before it completely removed it. Took longer, but easier for most lol

Disable Windows Defender via Group Policy Editor (Not Home Edition)

Now there's an under statement! Well done for starting this thread.

    Run gpedit.msc and navigate to...

    Code:
    Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Defender
Double-click on Turn off Windows Defender.

To Disable Windows Defender - Click on Enabled and Ok.

To Enable Windows Defender - Click on Not Configured or Disabled and Ok.

Nice you remember my decision about version of Windows 10. There are people that don't remember what they ate yesterday.

Windows defender can turn off if you install another antivirus/internet security. So I keep insist I don't want Pro.
