Unfortunately, while you do own the hardware, you don't own any Microsoft OS, you are only leasing it, so they make and enforce the "user agreement". You did read all 256 pages of the user agreement, didn't you? Oh wait, that's right, nobody has to read it. We all agreed to it simply by installing it. You need to wait for AeroGlass to be fixed. Then there is a way, but it does not work without AeroGlass, as far as I know.
I know this sounds f***ed up, but how do I get back the Windows 8.1 Start Screen? I really don't see a reason why to have a little menu when you can also just use the whole screen for it. The only thing you look at when you open the start menu is just the menu, not the s**t besides it. So why not fullscreen? Thus, how do I get the start menu full-screen or back as Windows 8/8.1?
Best of luck to them with that. The EULA is not legally enforcable in most countries, and I will do what I damn well please with software on my systems. By reading this post you have agreed to pay to me by Friday $1bn US. Also, I now own your house. ...And there's why an EULA means nothing.
Either Settings display/personalise has a proper full screen Start option, iirc. ...Nobody looks, do they?
There is a limit on how far you can drag it. Oh, I feel so stupid now I was looking at Taskbar > Properties > Navigation, just where it was in the preview builds... Thanks a lot!
To be fair, the interface is such an utter disaster these days for where settings are that I'd have thought the same.
