Why are you log in with administrator built in and not with regular administrator ?
    Did you install Home ?

i still using win7 on my main pc. already use the built in administrator for a long time with it.. trying win8 before and move back to win 7... but win 10 looks awesome with the taskview.. so try to dig up...

yes using built in administrator with win10 enterprise... gonna give up and going normal user account maybe...
edge and 3D builder can't run and maybe the solution is using own administrator account only...

Look in the tips and tweaks thread and Edge and 3D Builder along with all other apps can be made to run on the Administrator account just fine.

    Hi,

I like my Start Menu fullscreen.
In Windows 8.1 there was a tile called "Desktop", when you click that, the Start Menu would close.
But now in Windows 10, this tile is gone and I really love to have it again.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I tried different things, like trying to pin the "Desktop.lnk" from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs to the start menu, but that does not work.

Hello, Is there any way to edit the start menu - "all apps" menu? As an example, I installed Office 2016 and the icons in the "all apps" menu are organized alphabetically. I would prefer the Office 2016 icons have it's own folder with the icons within them. There doesn't seem to be any way to customize them as it was easy with Windows 7 to remove, add, or custom organize.
    Thanks

NEVERMIND....Finally figured it out, just if someone else has a similar question: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

    Not sure if it's mentioned.

Go to disk cleanup, select drive, clean up system files, select drive again and then click previous windows installation or something under that name.

    Much safer and faster.

    ...from Malware with love. :D

Seriously, what's the point in running elevated all the time on Windows? Just "I know what I'm doing" is not an argument, because the exact same people who know what they're doing are the first ones to cry when something unexpected happens.

I totally agree. It is generally considered poor practice.

Even I don't run as admin all the time. The OS is just not designed to function correctly that way.

I install programs, drivers, etc., as Administrator to make sure everything gets installed and written to disk properly. Some utilities need to be run as Administrator to work properly. Other than that, I see no need to run anything else as administrator.

It appears that you can specific different images to be used as wallpaper for multiple monitor setups.
But for the life of me, I cannot figure it out.

I've read a statement from a MS support engineer that mentions it should work starting from 10166.
