Yes it gives the download button. I also applied this values since I installed Windows 10 and they stay in place. However a GUI for the powershell script where you can chose what updates to download and install would be be the best solution.
Awesome, I was just happy to not have forced auto updates with having to worry about my machines that run 24/7 rebooting on me on their own and also being able to use the MS Win10 Update tool to manually hide updates tool but this is a bonus, thnx.
Hello, I hope you'all can help me out, since forum search gives no answer for my problem: The HISTORY of the "run" command (i.e start ->run ) does NOT SAVE ANYTHING ! I can run any command I wish from "run", but it does NOT register the commands I run in its history list ! I know I ran "DestroyWindowsSpying" version 1.4.3 (from our forum) and Windows 10 TNBT v1.7 - Cuz who wants MS to spy on them. Does any of these must-have-tweaks, causes this effect ? Any idea how to restore "run command"'s while retaining the ability to block MS spying features ?
Guys, has anyone figured out how to get rid of the blur effect on the transparent elements of Windows 10 yet? Sorry, but I haven't read the whole thread (lack of spare time lately)
IIRC, if search2 gets disabled and/or removed then Windows won't keep a history, so it's possible one of those removed that. If I'm wrong about which one it is hopefully someone who does will correct me. Which is why it is a good idea to test everything out in a VM before doing it on your live OS.
I applied that reg and haven't noticed any download button on windows update. Could you provide a screenshot of it
I don't know if already posted, however I remember users ask for it since the keys are different from Windowd 8/8.1. launch only cleanmgr ("nettoyage de disque" in french) with the menu launcher of windows 10 in admin level. after a scan, you must select the backup of your old windows sorry for my bad language.
Thank you for the reply I had search2 enabled all the time, I even ran the "UNDO" script of "Windows 10 TNBT" - but problem exists nevertheless. I think it is important I mention I made from scratch a clean install of win10 using ISO ( not the windows-built-in "restore" to defaults ). Any more advises will be appreciated
can you please give the codes to disable Windows defender completely Via registry Or batch file (CMD)
