There's more things on the net that you shouldn't do than you should, if you're gonna start running random scripts you found online, that's no different to running random exes, or sending your bank details to random scammers

Then I guess this topic or this forum should not exist at all, it does the same and it contains tons of topic with scripts, which actually break windows, just like privacy tools and such.

It is like selling knives and when someone cut himself, he complains about it. Then again, I understand, Americans complain about everything, that they fail to use properly.

No wonder, they have to put signs, like on a microwave: Do not use it to dry out your cat.

 

It is not my intention to discuss what to put on the internet but I think that it's every ones own reponsebility how to use the software ore scripts etc from both sides developer or user same cup of thea

 

The forum exist for people to share and gain knowledge and it's works both ways users and developpers it's an synergy thing

 

I offer support, when needed, but only 3 people contacted me about this one, like loosing internet connection because of disabled DNS service, so I have added custom DNS to fix that.

EDIT: I have forgot to mention, that I have Light version as well (it does not mess up Windows so much, just a little), I have linked it to the original plus added one more warning.

........... If It aint Broke --> Break It --> Fix IT.... How else do you learn? ... for the less adventurous maybe a MAC

 

I only know basic batch scripting, but if I were to make a gui to select them, would it only consist of
1. labelling everything :Tweak1, :Tweak2, etc
2. then echoing a menu -> getting user input -> calling the :Label
that's all right?

Anyone know how to integrate some telemetry-blocking type tweaks into a mounted (is the term called "mounted" when referring to the opened up contents of a WIM?) install.wim? If it's not possible, or requires Audit mode, then I may just run a script from our stickied Telemetry Repo post-install.

You have to read exactly what you are doing.
And do not just run the complete tweak.

I love Linux as well.. but for things that I enjoy (media center, sound recording, games, ) linux is trash. I use it to browse the internet, brush up my coding skills, etc.. but thats really all it is good for to me.

Edit: Can someone please tell me how to disable Windows Firewall via registry? I already know how it can be done using Control Panel/Windows Settings.

just tried it. it doesn't work. I also rebooted my machine and I opened regedit to check the entries are there.
