No. It is a custom key in registry, you can import your icons plus your own key, if you have got one, but you can not just change it. For the record this removes everything:

REG DELETE HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband /F
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer.exe

 

Should be "%AppData%\ROAMING\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\*"

 

%AppData% links to "AppData\ROAMING"
%LocalAppData% to "AppData\Local"

Create a taskbar you want, then export/import the key:

Do not forget to copy icons from the folder as well, otherwise you will just get dead links.

Wow, talk about a brick wall. Is Install_wim_tweak still a recommended tool for debloatation of Windows 10?
If so does anyone know where I can acquire this tool? It seems rather difficult to locate, with plenty of predatory
websites offering links to non-existant downloads of it -or- bait and switch downloads (as if I want to download
some util to convert all my .docs to .pdf instead -ugh)... thanks in advance. Regards.

 

Hi I'm having an annoying problem in the W10 2016 LTSB (C) that I had never seen before in the taskbar appears the input indicator of my language POR / PTB2 this way I go to settings and disable the icon but when I restart the machine the Is the input indicator again? Maybe someone here knows how to change this in Regedit thanks in advance
