It's a nice option, I had to manually take ownership of several nested folders inside windows.old and remove them one by one, after disk cleanup could not remove windows.old
In cmd with admin privileges , copy paste Code: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs Source: D >> D is where the installation media/dvd/usb is. Edit : Corrected, mistake in reading
Mount your 10240 ISO to x drive, run as Admin: Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:X:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
The setting from control panel is used also for all the DeviceSetupManager errors deleting in the event viewer.
Just a q: is there a way to change the notification position from bottom right to top right ? Thanks ! PS: The DisplayToastAtBottom method is not working.
Was having problems with my tile grid being 4x wide with no amount of resizing fixing it. I'm told this is left over residue from earlier builds. A new account fixed this problem but only slightly. I was really hoping to be able to use a 2x grid instead of 3x and I know some people with the 3x grid want the 4x grid back. I'm dumbfounded as to why MS hasn't made this an actual setting, but I'm not surprised. They seem to be trying to streamline settings all across, while making you lose control of certain aspects of customization. tldr; make a new account if you're on a 4x grid to get the 3x grid (it can be local).

One nice little thing I have is to launch MS Edge with any website. Create a New Shortcut and type microsoft-edge://google.com/ < This will open edge with google.com on start. You can change it to any website. Now don't change to one of those about:x(About:Home) flags unless you want to get shocked by what happens next.
