Windows 10 & Updates will not run !

    Windows 10 have upload a driver for my video card...it says it has been installed. Now the same driver is trying to install and has failed ! How do I get rid of this update that has failed ? Windows update will not run because of this file !

    Try this please:

    Shut down the wu service in services.msc and delete the whole c:\windows\softwaredistribution folder and start the wu service.

    Nice one Enthousiast, for whatever reason I couldn't download the latest Cumulative Update but doing what you said fixed it for me.

    No thanks, it's an old butchy fix but it works everytime for me :)
