You're right... KB3123862 Updated capabilities to upgrade Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 New version KILL Windows 10 released 2/5/16 Changes; adds remove and hide update KB3123862
Hi, what is the difference between MysTikAL3, zero2dash, abbodi1406 and GWX_control_panels tools? Are they mostly the same?
Hey MysTikAL3, it looks like all the mirrors posted on the .txt attached file at your main post have a zip archive which doesn't match with the MD5/SHA-1 checksums you wrote in the .txt file. Can you please take a look? Thank you.
My mistake...corrected text nfo... Error was on the info. KILLWindows10.txt -file size and hash values... Download links and KILLWindows10.zip file were all correct... Thanks for pointing out the mistake..
Ads on my lock screen? Cool! howtogeek.com/243263/how-to-disable-ads-on-your-windows-10-lock-screen/?PageSpeed=noscript
I just upgraded from Win81 to Win10. I wasn't forced to upgrade. But Windows Update said this was a 2.6gb update, yet it 'downloaded' within a minute. I'm guessing the download was already sitting on my machine.
Hi MysTikAL3, Do you know of any new Undesirables for March? I didn't find a March update to your Kill Win10 script, but I doubt M$ is giving up. Vigilance is our only hope. Many thanks for the great tool!
thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!! MUCH needed to get MS's fingers out of my OS's butt. I hope you keep up the updates for us. Thank you again.
I am not aware of any new Windows 10 upgrade KB's to avoid, as long as you continue to keep optional/recommended updates turned off. If I hear of anything new to avoid I will certainly update the script...
Thanks very much for keeping us up to date! I do have those updates turned off on everyone's PCs that I maintain and I check that setting and your script every month. so I think we're good. (I rather expect MS to start sneaking them in as "important" soon, so I'm still cautious.) Your script has made it really easy to keep us safe, and I truly appreciate your efforts. Thanks again!
