Hello, I want to assistive upgrade to Windows 10 asap since deadline is near, does it upgrade to fall creator's update, but my dell laptop battery stopped working, struck at 67%, getting plugged in but not charging, tried taking out & putting back but didn't worked. what's the download size & estimated time needed for Winodws 10 x64 download on 200kBit/s
or 400kBit/s connection, my OS partition is on SSD, 47GB with 38GB filled, after upgrade will it keep Windows.old, how much free space is required when installing as well as time required to upgrade? if a blackout occurs during upgrade process, can it cause damage?
Should I remove the battery during process or should I keep inserted?
how much space should I free considering the fact of winows.old as well as free space excluding downloaded upgrade package needed when installing?
also would it automatically upgrade all drivers for Windows 10 if I'm connected to net during upgrade process?
Also would upgrading keep all installed programs, browser data. Etc?

for anyone who might be facing the same questions as me, it went fine, for me it took 3 hours to download & an hour to upgrade, yes I left my battery in, thankfully there were no blackouts

sorry for the late suggestion but if you would've upgraded to win 10 via genuineticket.xml method then the process should have taken less then 2 hrs

Or you can download ISO image and burn dvd and can install from that disc, this could save bandwidth from downloading.

Extracted iso will work too, no need to burn anything :)
