I am planning on doing some releases but I am not going to rush out on this one given I feel it has 0 benefit based over th2, as both need the same updates from Match. I really don't know why they bothered with this release imho.

Usually, untouched isos have files less than 4GB in size files within them. So you are good to FAT32.
When you grab an AIO sometimes install.wim file could be larger than 4GB then you need to use NTFS.

It IS TH2, it's the same ISO as 10586.0 with 2 updates in install.wim/winre.wim/boot.wim, those updates are superseeded by the CU, released on the first of march.

I mostly agree with you, however I still downloaded the Feb refresh ISO, because there is a possibility that MS fixed Bitlocker issue (could not initiate hardware based encryption when fresh install 10586.0 on some SSDs) that was related to 10586.0 release. Plus, even though its true that you'll need March update and the future updates to bring your OS up to date, it's still better than having the 10586.0 in every aspect. It's "free", so why not?

When this iso fixes something it will be because of the updates, and if the CU from march 1. superseeds the two, the fix would also be on the old iso when manually updated.

    I have 1 TB free :)
btw, i find these new isos a bit dirty - they have new "Logs" folder in root directory C:\ (full of logs), perhaps it was created after maintaining, and in "Users" folder there are Administrator account present.

I missed that offer. Any way to get it increased now - free?

Okay so if the Hash matches what's listed on MSDN then it's the exact file, no tampering? Do I understand that correctly?

Exactly, even if 1 byte was changed, the hash would be different

    Hello.

I previously installed the insider preview version but it doesn't work well for me.

Now I'd like to install the 1511 version but it doesn't allow me to upgrade keeping applications.
    How can I force it?

I don't know, i don't use any clouds now. It was a limited offer in january, 2015.
They offer 100 Gb earlier, then it was cut off to 25.

What you said is true, in a sense that that problem was fixed by updates. This is the key.

Now consider this situation: you have an SSD with hardware encryption support. If you have 10586.0, you could not enable hardware encryption onto the ssd. In order for you to use hardware encryption, you'll have to install 10240, then enable hardware encryption, then upgrade to 10586.0, then update. If you have 10586.1, however, I think you can simply fresh install 10586.1 and you can enable hardware encryption directly, without going through all the upgrade hassle. So what ISO would you rather have?

I opened the install.wim with 7-zip and indeed there is a "Logs" folder in the root. That seems very sloppy! :(
But I can't see an admin account under the Users folder?
