Do you have a backup of the Windows 7 System? I am trying to tell you to backup your personal files from D Drive to C, then clean install Windows 10 to D Drive. So I suggest: 1. Disable System Protection 2. Reduce Page size (even 0 if with enough physical memory) 3. Disable hibernation by Code: powercfg -h off 4. Reboot Then check free space again.
I did a system image as well as a windows back earlier today. I don't think I have enough room to move everything from D to C. I'll have to split everything up between my other drives. I've also go programs installed to the D drive.
ok I'll have to do this in the morning...my wife just told me it's time for bed (10pm here) I also just remembered that D drive is what I was using for the backup drive (WindowsImageBackup)
I also just remembered that D drive is what I was using for the backup drive (WindowsImageBackup) I'll move some stuff around tomorrow and use another drive for my image backup..I'll post when I'm back online
OK. It seems that your machine does not support Hyper-V. Did you ever install VMware on Windows 7? Wow! You backuped personal files to USB? OK. Could you please try clean install the custom 10537 Pro I made?
no lol, some of the files went to USB, some went to C drive and some went to my other 2 drives. I downloaded the custom. How should I go about installing it? use the "gimagex"?
I had VMware on the system last year but removed it, was going to try linux but couldn't figure it out so I removed it.
