I think I'll just pass on it. Thank you anyways for your help. After trying a dozen times, it's looking like I'm just not needing windows 10. I'll keep my system the way it is. Thank you again

    OK. Wish you the best.

Maybe a new SATA adapter will do.

u can try this one last thing.....upgrade to 8.1 and try to upgrade to 10 maybe the win 8 drivers will behave better for u....if it is a driver issue after all. good luck.

I don't know if it's a driver issue or not, only that ECS said that my board won't support Windows 10 because of Chipset limitations. They wouldn't go into any detail.

Two replies from you are all blank.

    Which ISO?

Windows 8.1 or 10240 integrated with ECS HDD controler driver?

The 10240 link is in the two PMs I sent to you.

    1. Connect USB stick and make sure there is nothing important in the USB stick

    2. Open custom 10240 Pro ISO with UltraISO

Bootable > Write Disk Image > Choose Disk Drive (USB stick) > Write Method (USB.HDD+) > Write

    USB-Boot.png

    3. Restart and enter BIOS settings

    4. Set USB-HDD as default boot item, then save to restart

    5. Choose USB to boot

If Windows 10240 could find HDD, install it on D drive and let it carry on

    Then feedback.

They are three options for you to choose from for testing 10240.

Now you are using which method?
