Thank You M8 for the excellent post So let me grasp this, on the machine that has the time bombed kernel, if I execute this offline enroller and chose the developer (no time bomb) option 3, this machine will upgrade to this build?
Those are not developer but beta and release preview on an already known to become retail released build.
Can I update to an Insider Preview Build and extend the expiration? What I am trying to do is upgrade/update the current build which will expire in September to a build that will expire a few months down the road or upgrade it to one that wont...
Thats what he just said to do thats whats been said to ya now a few times but ya still dont seem to want to do it
I just used the offline enroller and tried to update to the beta channel.....the download went fine and now I have a "This PC doesnt currently meet windows 11 system requirements" Sigh......PC must support TPM 2.0 and Secure boot What can I do?
While that would work, it's the wrong advice in this case. Step two is Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd, it goes hand-in-hand with OfflineInsiderEnroll for "unsupported" machines.
Ahhh....Your a Genius!!!! I am going to name my next born after you!! Spot on answer...Thank you very much!!! Alan
OK....I ran Skip_TPM_Check.......as an ADMIN rebooted computer and went to updates and I see the download and then the same message about TPM and secure boot
The update worked like a dream...Now on 226222.290 and no expiration date...Jessie Pinkman, go hang yourself because a clean install wasnt need..Your a waste of bandwidth so go and off yourself Enthuosisat you were very helpful as was Aveyo Thank you both
