@Paul Mercer if I make an in place upgrade with an ISO (1742 or 2033) in another non en-us language, will this remove LpCab? I ask because last time I removed it with Dism, it broke my system.
no, all installed FoDs should migrate to the new "upgrade" don't touch it, just try to in-place upgrade in two-steps or directly to the 26100.2161
KB5044384 install error 0x80070306 on my 26100.2152 via WU or DISM affter sfc, dism restore and cleanup , DISM add-package KB5044384 ,still 0x80070306
Same problem.First run the sfc command and the problem remains, then run the dism command and then update successfully. sfc /scannow Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
dism /online /add-package /packagepath:\cu\Windows11.0-KB5044384-x64.msu , error 0x80070306 . Why ipconfig?
I installed in place upgrade to 2161 with UUP iso but it still asks to install 5044384. I tried sfc, dism check, scan, restore, cleanup with and without reset base but still it asks to install it. I tried also manual reinstall and it errors. In windows history it shows as successful and in Dism++ as permanent install. Any ideas?
Are you still using a language file or did you use the official ISO in your language? And are you the same person as here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1858398 ?
What exact files (original file names please) are you using and how do you add them and why still use an en-US ISO?
lpcab was already there, I didn't add anything manually, I added them through windows settings in add language. What do you mean why I still use en-us iso? Its the main UI language interface and typing language, I added my language only as typing language. Microsoft-Windows-Client-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.26100.1742 Microsoft-Windows-Client-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.26100.2161
and Again, what language do you add and why if the ISO is available in your language? I will go the hard way and also add a typing language and see for myself.
