Something new that is good as worth to mention there? As I read, there is nothing really new, currently even the same as 24H2. Only changes are smaller bug fixes and a password manager. (Well who the hell trust MS their passwords, lol)
Test version of Windows 11 25H2 still corresponds to 24H2 Microsoft has not yet commented on the specific new features. The preview build 26200.5670 (KB5060838) for 25H2 in the dev channel does not differ from the 24H2 preview build that Microsoft is distributing via the beta channel, reports Windows Central. So there are still no new features or changes that stand out. In the future, however, it should receive exclusive features. However, a big leap like the AI functions for 24H2 is not expected this year. New in the current preview version in the beta and dev channel is the integration of 1Password, the password manager is intended to make it easier to use passkeys. If websites support passkeys, these can then be saved in 1Password. Authentication takes place with Windows Hello. What is to love there?!
Main reasons why I like 26200 compared to 26100 (network): 26100 speed 26200 speed Same PC just upgraded from one to the other.
Of course I have. I have had problems with 24h2 connections since its release. Tried all versions with same results. Windows 10 or Server 23h2 with gui are the only resolutions for me. Also it seems 25h2 is now working for my Server also
Don't worry, dear friend... "IT'S A NEW FEATURE!!!" And if you think, that's a bug, no problem, it will be fixed in version 27H2
Hotpatching is enterprise/server only: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...indows-11-24h2-no-subscriptions-needed.88643/
@tistou, atm there is just one checkpoint update (kb5043080), it still didn't get replaced by a newer/higher version. Checkpoint is not a hotpatch (and not related too afaik) and nobody needs it on non server systems, servers restarting after an update is more hassle for the IT department.
