got the exact same error in 2 of the systems, others are fine, tried the usual DISM Cleanup + RestoreHealth + SFC +ckdisk etc, none helped to resolve only option left is making the 26100.6584 ISO & In-place update/install By this 'I was able to slipstream the new update to my Windows 11 Image using the files downloaded from this thread' What do you mean exactly? Okay, I wasn't aware of this workaround, will try. BTW, KB5043080 is the latest/last released checkpoint LCU right? EDIT: Tried installing KB5043080, but it didn't work, showing this error pop-up, so nothing is left except the in-place update repair method
I also tried with "Windows11_InsiderPreview_Client_x64_en-us_26200.iso", same error I've faced earlier...
Okay. So is there any way how can I switch from 26200.5751 to 26200.6584? I mean the build number is still 26200.
On occasion I make custom ISO images of Windows 11 and 10. Often, I put the latest updates for the time, like the Cumulative Updates, into the image. That is what I meant with "slipstreaming." I use NTLite, but you can use W10UI.
Did you try this? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-hotfix-repository.83741/page-174#post-1889922
Not yet... Need to create an ISO first, it will take a while... Not sure how creating a Dev build will help me to switch to RP build. I guess it's my only shot, since I'm still on 26200.
Well, I rewiped and that fixed everything. Now I am with God and the new f*cking update. I hate my life.
That one won't help you, better to exactly and honestly document what you do on that install, and inform us with that info next time when you have these faillures.
I found the real cause of my disk error 3 which doesn't seem related to any settings like I originally thought. When I take a 22621.1 (Educ) base and update it online with the August or September updates the componet store is fine until I do the resetbase. After that, dism /scanhealth can no longer complete checking the component store. If someone has the time, could they please try this to confirm what I'm experiencing? Thanks...
I,M no expert at all but could it be a missing EI.CFG file? Have it been fixed with Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v6.0?
Actually, I did, Dism from W10UI. I need a crash course on Dism to do it manually afterwards. Sorry if I screwed up one too many times. @Muggaen : I didn't need that due to the fact that I use IoT Enterprise LTSC. What a joyful morning. EDIT: After all that f**kery all nighter, I want to go play!
